Dr. Amy Kinzie is a native of Panama City, FL, and attended Florida State University for her undergraduate studies. She earned a Master’s in Science and a Doctor of Nursing Practice, both from Louisiana State University. Her nursing background is primarily in emergency nursing and clinical research. When she moved to New Orleans in 2007, she accepted a faculty appointment as a research nurse at LCBCD. In 2014, after graduating from her NP program, Amy accepted a faculty appointment within the Tulane School of Medicine. Her current areas of clinical interest include sickle cell disease, thrombotic disorders, and clinical research. In her free time, she enjoys photography, hiking, and boating. She is also a proud member of New Orleans’ own 610 Stompers.
