Connie Scott began her nursing career over 30 years ago as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), she then advanced to an Associate Degree and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Since 1990 she has been working in Tulane’s Infectious Disease department with HIV Research and has participated in multiple HIV Research studies for over 30 years. She has been an AIDS Certified RN since 2001 and Certified Clinical Research Coordinator since 2012. Although she has worked in multiple areas of nursing since 1980, research has been her nursing passion.

She continued her career at Tulane University Health Science Center, as a Nurse Health Care Services Manager; and has been in research since 1996 and transitioned to LCBCD in 2015. At the LCBCD she works in research studies for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. She enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, and spending time with family, especially her grandkids.
