Cheryl Sanders has been a nurse for more than 40 years. In 1988, she received her second Masters of Science in Nursing. Her nursing specialties are maternal and child health, and adult psych background and has practiced in many specialties. Cheryl has been a research nurse coordinator for LCBCD since 2018 and has been in research since 2001. Currently, she oversees and facilitates studies within our department. She is a former member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), and currently a member of Ochsner Institutional Review Board. During her free time, she enjoys taking photographs and traveling.
